Anthony Lee Hetzel age 56 of Belle Plaine, died Sunday afternoon, January 27, 2019 at Hennepin County Medical Center. Memorial Service will be at 11a.m. on Friday, February 1st, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 31st, at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the service at church on Friday morning. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Memorials are preferred.
Ginette F. Roger, 92, of New Prague, died peacefully at home with family members around her on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018.
She was born March 1, 1926, in Morchain, France, to Francis Mary and Cecile Lecot. She married Paul Roger in France on April 2, 1949, and they moved to the United States in 1950. They lived in France, Massachusetts, California and Minnesota. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She was a fun, feisty, friendly person who enjoyed surrounding herself with family and friends.
Harold Martin Vosejpka, age 83, of Lonsdale, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 17th, 2019. Harold was born November 10, 1935, in Lonsdale, to Emil and Otilia (Malecha) Vosejpka.

Dorothy M. Mader, age 88, of Minneapolis, died on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Three Links Care Center in Northfield. Dorothy was born on November 19, 1930 in Trebon, Shieldsville Township, Rice County, Minnesota to Henry & Emily E. (David) Mader. Dorothy was raised on farms in the St. Patrick/Webster/New Prague area, attended county district school, and left home as a young adult to work at the St. Paul Seminary. She spent the majority of her life as the regional director of New England Life Insurance Company, covering an 8-state area.
Donald J. Schultz, age 77, of New Prague, died peacefully on Friday, January 18, 2019 at St. Gertrude’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in Shakopee. Don was born on June 14, 1941 in Shakopee to Donald E. and Elizabeth M. (Abeln) Schultz. He graduated from Shakopee High School and then entered the US Marines. Following his military service, he married Phyllis K. Hoffbeck on April 8, 1972 at St.
Helen Von Bank, age 92, of Shakopee, MN, died on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, surrounded by her family, at Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Shakopee.
Helen was born on April 8, 1926, in Marystown, MN, the daughter of Peter and Margaret (Klehr) Theis. She married Eli Von Bank on September 23, 1947, in Jordan, and had worked for the Scott County Sheriff in the food service department. Helen enjoyed playing cards, fishing, cooking, camping, and watching game shows, the MN Twins and the State High School Basketball tournament.
Gladys D. Beinhorn, age 81, of New Prague, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. Gladys was born March 13, 1937 in New Prague to Erwin H.
David W. Amundson, age 44, of New Prague, died by suicide after a long battle with depression on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Dave was born on July 1, 1974 to Tom H. and Marlys A. (Youngbauer) Amundson in Farmington, MN. He graduated from Lakeville High School and attended Dunwoody College of Technology and received an Associate of Applied Science Degree in auto mechanics. He worked for the last 15 years for Airlake Automotive in Lakeville.
Rose Adeline (Dietz) Washa, 104, of Le Center, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at her home in Le Center. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 12 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with funeral service following at 11 a.m. also with Father Chris Shofner officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
Rose was born on December 18, 1914, in Montgomery to August and Rose (Kriha) Dietz. She was a Montgomery High School graduate. Rose was united in marriage to Nathan Henry Washa on November, 12, 1934 in Montgomery.
Wayne Marvin Scheffler, age 62 of Loomis, CA, a former graduate of New Prague High School passed away December 17, 2018. Wayne lost his battle with cancer. Wayne was born Feb.7th 1957.
Rita Marie Sticha, 82, of Faribault, formerly of Montgomery passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Pleasant Manor in Faribault. Visitation will be Wednesday, January, 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery with funeral service following at 11 also at the funeral home with Father Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.
Blase Benedict Bisek, age 98, of New Prague, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital – New Prague. Blase was born on January 30, 1920 in Lanesburgh Township, Le Sueur County, Minnesota to William A. and Mary B. (Snorek) Bisek. He attended country district school, St. Wenceslaus School during the years of his sacraments, and graduated from New Prague High School. He was drafted into the US Army in January 1942 and served with the Tenth Armored ‘Tiger’ Division.
Laurie Ann Theis, age 55, passed away peacefully in the presence of family, on Sunday morning, December 30, 2018, at her home in Jordan, MN, after a couragious fight with cancer.

Jerry Wallace Will, age 60, of Sierra Vista, AZ, formerly of Prior Lake, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 25, 2018.
Jerry was the fourth child born to Wallace and Claudia (Busch) Will on July 23, 1958.
At the age of 18, he joined the military and proudly served his country for 42 years. He had a 20 year Army career and a 22 year civilian Army career as a UAS Maintenance Instructor for Unmanned Aircraft for General Dynamics.
Albert Peter Braith, age 77 of New Prague, MN passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at his home after battling prostate cancer for over 19 years. Albert was born February 4, 1941 in Sebeka, MN to Henry & Mary (Friedl) Braith. On October 6, 1962, he married Carol Kruger in Wheaton, MN. Last October they were married 56 years, and a very huge and fun 50th anniversary party was held in 2012.
